La práctica artística en espacios públicos no puede ser simplemente sacar a la calle lo que estaba o se hacía en las galerías. Es necesario apropiarse críticamente de herramientas y lenguajes de quienes hace tiempo ya tiene la calle como su medio, desde los cómicos ambulantes hasta los vendedores de puerta en puerta. Nosotros, para este proyecto nos hemos apropiado de una herramienta de la publicidad callejera: la banderola. En toda la ciudad, peor espacialmente en las zonas populares, las banderolas son constantemente utilizadas para anunciar todo tipo de evento o noticia , mítines políticos, ofertas de algún producto e incluso disposiciones de los municipios y otras instancias estatales.
Nuestras banderolas tienen dos objetivos, visibilizar la intervención en el entorno urbano y brindar los datos mínimos para la decodificación de la intervención (es decir, para que la gente entienda de qué se trata la cuestión).
